Also, for anyone traveling with young kids, I recently found out about the beauties of a travel router. For $50, I bring this little device that connects to the hotel wifi, authenticates, and then it re-broadcasts that connection as its own wifi network that has the same SSID and password as my home Wifi network.
The benefit is our Nanit and other baby devices (as well as our phones, laptops, etc) immediately work, since they think they’re at home and connect to the ‘home’ network. Game changer. Highly recommend.

What does your company do, in one sentence a non-tech person would understand?
SuperMoney is an app that connects to your financial accounts, tells you which money problem to fix first, and then shops the market to fix it. “We're building the financial advisor for the other 99%.”
What’s something you’ve built, here or before, that you’re proud of?
We bootstrapped SuperMoney to 2 million+ registered users across 50+ financial product categories.
The one I’m proudest of is newer: Sense AI, which reads your accounts and credit data to provide personalized financial insights and answers.
What would you never hand over to AI?
Plato noticed we quit hard thinking sooner than hard exercise, because the mind carries that pain alone. AI is the most frictionless exit from it ever built.
So I write my own argument first and ask AI to tear it apart. Having it produce the argument feels the same in the moment and hollows you out over years.
Who/what in OC has been unusually helpful in building the business, and how?
Orange County is one of the densest financial services markets in the country. We have built close partnerships with many industry leading companies based here, such as Experian, loanDepot, and Optima Tax Relief.
Where do you meet other founders or tech people in OC?
When I was first getting started, TCVN, Octane, and TCA helped me meet like-minded founders.
What’s a great spot in OC for a coffee or happy hour?
Fat of the Land is a favorite spot.
